Abstract:

Energetic materials specifically explosives material used extensively both for civil and military applications. Therefore probability explosion energetic material is unavoidable .The need to development of energetic materials with high performance and greater stability to heat, thermally stable explosives, is given priority in research development energetic materials, which are safer, more reliable and more stable in the world applications recently. In this paper in addition to introducing thermally stable explosives structure and theoretical reasons for this stability, process manufacture, their properties and their stabilizing, their advantages and disadvantages and heat-stable methods for explosive, has been investigated. Some of suitable candidates of this group have been presented and their synthesis have been evaluated. Sensitivity to impact and friction TATB Is introduced as a measure to study the thermal stability. Furthermore, this review also describes the synthesis and properties of BTDAONAB which does not melt below 550 °C and it is considered a better thermally stable explosive than TATB. Finally, future of research in this field in the years to come is also highlighted.

مروری بر فرایندهای کهولت و روش‌های تخمین طول عمر مواد منفجره پلاستیکی(علمی-ترویجی)

In this study, the aging and deterioration mechanisms in the plastic bonded explosives (PBXs) and their components as well as standard methods for their evaluating are presented. Also, the techniques developed for the prediction of chemical lifetime and service life of PBXs will be reviewed and analyzed. These methods cite the lifetime prediction methods based on weight/energy loss by thermal a...

بررسی فرآیند ریخته‌گری مذاب مواد منفجره حاوی تری نیتروتولوئن TNT(علمی-ترویجی)

In this article charging of explosives through casting has been investigated. Melt casting of TNT-based explosives is one of the most common techniques to economic and mass production of explosives. TNT is the only molten explosive at low temperature (80.4 C), so it is a convenient matrix for casting. Shrinkage of TNT in amount of 11-12% during solidification causes some problems in melt cast...
